BE A LIGHT

Be A Light is the latest full-length flash from New York-raised, Los Angeles-residing Matthew Kratz a.k.a. Kraddy: the composer, producer, and DJ behind the YouTube dance-group phenomenon of 2009’s “Android Porn” single viewed 300 million times. Since his earlier collaborations with The Glitch Mob, Kraddy has crafted a new vibration that evolves his previous roots to new standards. Boasting a broad range of styles with his newest offering of accentuated anthems and cinematic ballads, the producer breaks the mold with his newest offering of bass-heavy bangers.

“The Prestige” sets off the album journey as the next-level ‘pull & release’ production guides the listener through an exhilarating ride. Visionary synthesizers and hard-hitting beats meet turntablism from D-Styles, leading us to the beacons of light that lie inside of the album’s journey. Tracks such as “Winning” and “I Can’t Go Back” present themselves as sequential power trips to bring on the bright days with psychedelic affirmations. Accenting the producer’s cinematic skill is the instrumental epic “Iron Temple”, and nearing the album’s closure, it provides for the perfect resolution allowing for a reflective breath as the record recycles over. Be A Light is available worldwide June 3rd, 2014 on Kraddy’s Minotaur imprint.

Dorothy Fields – Big Spender (KRADDY Remix)
This was a remix requested by Dream of Lucent Dossier. She told me to “make something I would play out”. I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out and its always really fun to play out 🙂

I love the original version of this track and Kendrick Lamar’s whole vibe. The original is soulful and sexy and heartfelt. With this remix I wanted to explore the darker side of the voice thats says “BITCH don’t kill my vibe!”

p.s. “bitch” is not necessarily meant to be a woman. Anyone or anything can be a bitch.

Kraddy vs. Heavyweight Dub Champion- Labyrinth In Dub EP Available 3/26/13

KRADDY ENLISTS HEAVYWEIGHT DUB CHAMPION FOR
“INTO THE LABYRINTH” REMIX ALBUM, AVAILABLE MARCH 26

Electronic music trailblazer KRADDY has enlisted famed Denver art collective Heavy Weight Dub Champion to remix his breakout 2010 Labyrinth EP. The new take on the set, titled Into the Labyrinth, will be available on Tuesday, March 26, through all digital retailers.

Once again, listeners will get to fall Into the Labyrinth, but this time under the deft and divine production of Heavy Weight Dub Champion. This special remix EP brings together two worlds—the group’s inimitable dub-ed out electro style and KRADDY’s glorious glitch hybrid. It’s unlike anything in electronic music right now, and it shines a new light on the composer, producer, and DJ.

It also comes hot on the heels of a breakout year for KRADDY. In 2012, his remix of Rob Zombie’s classic “Superbeast” appeared on the metal icon’s Mondo Sex Head. Meanwhile, he dropped his acclaimed Moment of Truth EP, which pulled audiences further into his world. He continues to stand at the forefront of EDM. His single “Android Porn” has racked up over 8 million YouTube views and is one of the “most-downloaded” electronica tracks on iTunes. He’s no stranger to accolades, though. He co-founded the legendary Glitch Mob in 2006 and was the group’s primary creative force before going solo in 2009.

Get ready to take a trip Into the Labyrinth with KRADDY.
